Therapy Services
Since the start of the pandemic, I’ve been seeing my clients weekly via Telehealth through SimplePractice.
I primarily utilize Existential-Humanistic Therapy, EMDR, and Inner Child Healing, which creates a really cool eclectic mix when addressing a person’s trauma. The majority of my work is focused on treating people who have been through childhood trauma, family enmeshment, spiritual trauma, and have been told they’re overly sensitive and too much. By combining existentialism, EMDR, and inner child work, we’re able to have unique conversations filled with really big questions, image guidance, reprocessing, and somatic experiences.
Throughout a session you can expect to laugh, cry, talk about things you never have before, and feel a little more connected to yourself (even though it may hurt a little).
Symptoms of people I enjoy working with:
Feeling like you’re too much and not enough at the same time
Being told you have “an old soul” throughout your life
Having the sensation that you’re watching your life like it’s a movie and not your own
Vacillating from idealizing life to being really disappointed
Feeling like you don’t belong
Wondering what the point of your existence is
Recognizing you went through some messed up stuff in childhood
Feeling like you don’t know how to be an autonomous adult
Having difficulty remembering parts of your childhood and “blocking” things out, even positive memories
Questioning religious systems and your spiritual beliefs
Having the responsibility of taking care of your parent’s emotional and physical needs in childhood, adolescence, and adulthood
Feeling lonely when you’re around people who say they love you
Wondering if you’re more sensitive than others in your life
Experiencing existential dread with climate change, social injustice, and polarization
